Why re-encode instead of a lossless cut?
Lossless cutting can only cut on keyframes, which is why other tools give you black frames or a cut that lands a second off. Re-encoding puts the cut exactly where you set it.
Does it keep the audio?
Yes, the audio is cut to the same window and kept in sync.
What are the limits?
The source clip can be up to 60 seconds and 100 MB, and the cut window must sit inside those 60 seconds.
